  1. You mean the Throne Speech vote yesterday that passed, like it obviously always would?

...He's in until 2019. Then he'll probably be in for another 2-4 years after that until his government starts to look old and the Tories look fresh and competent again. Deal with it.

The 21st century won't be a century dominated by the Liberals the way the 20th was, but that doesn't mean there won't be stretches like this one where the party you don't like is running the show and the one you do like is criticizing from the opposition benches. That's how democracy works.

...Of course, all bets are off if Trudeau actually brings in proportional representation. Then there's no telling who we get, or when.

    1. Proportional representation wouldn't change things that much. STV with ridings remaining as they are would cause a rush to the mushy middle as every party vies to be the second choice of partisan voters from other parties.

  2. I hope when you get a job you are routinely passed on for promotion on account of your age, since to you that is the salient characteristic of our prime minister

  3. He's such a pathetic lightweight. It's depressing to think we've got four years of that vapid brat ahead of us.

    1. I thought this when I got elected. For the most part, I no longer think this. He's managed to stay surprisingly grounded, these past 100 days. And his approach to governance seems to be inspired less by his father and more by Pearson, which I think can only be a good thing (because Pearson was awesome, and Pierre was not).

    3. If he's a patetic lightweight, what does that make of Stephen Harper who was soundly beaten by Trudeau?

All I can day is Keep on underestimating JT, we see how well it worked for the CPC.

  7. Sorry OP, looks like all the college liberals are starry-eyed over Justin "dude weed lmao" Trudeau. I can't wait until the inevitable shift in opinion when these hipsters can't afford their peppermint lattes anymore.

    1. Just like the conservatives couldn't wait for Trudeau to self destroy during the campaign.
