OMG:
I'd be thrilled if someone could help me with this. My PC (yes, I still use one) recently was recently treated to an upgrade to Windows 7. Since then I've been unable to print. When I try to add a printer, I get message saying 'The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable'. I've followed the advice online, manually restarting the print spool, and so on and so on. This seems to be a pretty widespread problem (thanks Microsoft!). Has anyone encountered this and been able to solve it?
MOD'S NOTE:Couple of things... 1) PC's rock. 2) Windows *7*?! It's all about the 10, sib.
"still use PC"

"upgrade to windows 7"

what made you think that omguw will do any good of a job trouble shooting your printer problems? ffs, use google
No, I mean I was already on 7, and my default settings were to notify me of upgrades. Microsoft issued one which promptly screwed up a lot of people's printers. And, maybe you should read what I said ' I've followed the advice online, manually restarting the print spool, and so on and so on'...what did you think I meant, you fuckin' simpleton.
ReplyDeleteWindows 10 is basically spyware, fuck that shit.
ReplyDeleteWaterloo offers students free Windows OS (8, 8.1 Pro and even 10) btw.
ReplyDeleteStill struggling with this problem. HP can't help. Dell can't help (they said ask HP). Think Microsoft will help? Haha.
