OMG: I just turned 20 and still have horrible skin. Most of the girls (and guys) around this age already grew out of the acne phase and have the most radiant skin. Sigh... by the time I'm acne-free I'll probably have wrinkles and age spots.

  1. Adult acne is no fun at all. Mine really only got markedly better when I started getting prescription stuff from a dermatologist.

  3. Ugh I totally get your pain. I'm having the worst acne breakout due to midterm/interview stress and it's like my face is a chocolate chip cookie.

  4. I feel you, I used to have HORRIBLE acne in grade 11. I took accutane for four months on a lower concentrated dosage. Albeit, I went through some really dry noses and eyes, knee pains etc during the time but after that.. I have never gotten any serious cysts or acne on my face. I have insanely radiant skin now... take accutane!

    2. I've been on it 4 times. Worst side affect is the dry lips because they always crack during the night and end up bleeding. Other then that it was fine.

  5. I used to have horrible acne then I saw the simpson's where homer was a teenager with a lot of acne, then he puts in benzoyl peroxide 10% and his acne disappeared. Then I started googling about benzoyl peroxide, after two months my skin got way clearer and by about a year I don't have acne anymore. I still use BP for prevention though. There's also accutane but it has lots of side effects. You should research more about this stuff too.
