OMG:

I'm not the biggest fan of FEDS but one the execs posted this powerful inspirational message on Reddit about his own struggles at UW.

So many things I can relate to. I really needed that encouragement. Thank you.

    1. I was actually going to write the same comment as 1 till I read the reddit post. It hit too close to home, highly relatable and yeah it gave me hope. So despite the fact that you could be quite pompous in person, Maaz, your words here inspired me highly. Thanks a lot.
      Sincerely
      Not Maaz :D

  2. People who can afford to go to university don't struggle.

    1. This is just categorically false.

There are certain things they don't struggle with, certainly. But they aren't exempt from struggle, that's just nonsense.

    2. I the point stands though. Everyone who's all shattered and inconsolable from their University student stress is for the most part belly-aching.

    3. There are a lot of people who is defined as successful by society who lived with long time depression. But of course their depression wasn't due to university itself, I find people who struggle due to the university life itself was shielded too much during childhood/high school and was unprepared when they got here. They didn't know how to handle the social, educational, independent life so they either fail during first year or struggle to make relationships during their time here. Everyone live different lives but everyone at one point needs to realize they need to grow up and be willing to be proactive about their life.
Uni could be a hard pill to swallow but it's pill that is needed.

    5. You forgot those that give opinions without any real understanding of what they're talking about 3.c. These people need to educate themselves prior to trying to educate others.

    6. Before everyone crucifies 3.c I would be interested if they kept stats for these measures. It would be something to go on for future treatments. Find out the causes if it was something buried in the past that was triggered by something related to university life, or if it was related to UW itself, etc. Then go from there.

  3. Glad to see that university admin doesn't shit on people in need anymore. Personally I think that's half the battle.

    1. University admin? This guy isn't admin, he is just a student who works for feds.

    2. Yes, I know he's not admin 4.a. But it looks like he was able to struggle on his own through willpower and didn't have university admin hindering his efforts. This is a change from a few years back.
