OMG: Well, here I am, back at Waterloo. After a week in Florida, it's such a breath of rancid air. Walking down the beach there, a pretty girl says 'hi' so I pause and start chatting with her and her friend. It was kind of hard to tell how old they were because they have mirrored aviator shades.
One thing leads to another, and turns out it's a 15 year old with her 14 year old sister from Gainsville, FL. So I hung out for the rest of the afternoon and bought them dinner. And that's as far as it went (c'mon I'm 20). I'd have been thrilled if I'd been a 18 or less though. They were warm, friendly, confident, cheerful and, frankly, bangin'. And now it's back to this fucking desert, where saying hello to a woman elicits a response something along the lines of saying 'Hey, I have leprosy!'. Shithole.
Yeah, please don't let it get you down though! There are probably a lot of narcissistic people of both sex here.
ReplyDeleteA bet a lot of girls will judge a guy as a douche if he has nice arms and abs, or thinks he just wants sex if she get's approached.
Likewise, there are probably smelly brown guys who approach girls all the time and are very pushy. If she's not interested, move on and stop being so desperate.
Girls will usually never approach a guy; they want to be the one's approached, they want to be texted first. That said, I don't understand girls and never will.
Is a girl being a bitch? Cool, move on and you'll find someone who's not.
Wow, way to be a racist, asshole.
Delete^ You must be a pushy, smelly brown guy xD
DeleteUm, there's more to a place than whether or not you think girls acknowledge you enough.
ReplyDeleteMaybe girls don't talk to you cause you're a racist dick.
ReplyDeleteWhere does he mention race?
DeleteHe doesn't mention race - 3 is probably still butt-hurt about comment 1 and 1b.
DeleteAwww poor little op not enough pretty girls smiling at him. How can anyone force him to live in such a shithole he's so oppressed here.
ReplyDeleteYou reading comprehension or command of the language needs improvement. Where did I say I was 'oppressed'? I was simply pointing out that in another place, Florida in this case, the girls are far more friendly and open than they are here and not just on a 'age equivalent' basis...it's very strange and it makes life here kind of exasperating. I mean, who doesn't want someone to date?
DeleteIt's just UW. Laurier is okay.
DeleteYou are very strange and it makes life kind of exasperating.
DeleteMaybe its just that they aren't 15? Or that they have things to do with their afternoons (possibly related to the first thing)?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, how can you be upset with people for being uninterested in conversation or invitations to hang out? By approaching someone you impose yourself on their time. Its alright, but if they aren't into it you should be ready to hear about it.
+1
DeleteOh my god I'm imposing on their time. How overbearing of me.
DeleteBecause they're being antisocial pricks who give this school a shitty reputation. It was scrooge who said "humanity is none of my business".
DeleteWhat 5.c said. Some people brushing some people off on occasion, because they are busy, is to be expected. A shitload of people (er, women) blowing people off as a matter of course is a case of 'antisocial prick'.
DeleteLook boys, I'm not sure what made you guys so salty, but no one owes you a second of their time. If you impose yourself and get shut down that's their prerogative. Not spending time out of your day to talk to a stranger who doesn't interest you isn't "antisocial".
DeleteLook around the next time you're on campus, you'll see tons of people talking to each other. If no one is talking to you maybe the "shitload of people (er, women)" aren't the problem here.
'Not spending time out of your day to talk to a stranger who doesn't interest you isn't "antisocial".' Actually, if that's your default setting, it is.
Delete"not sociable; not wanting the company of others" is the definition I found. Does it apply if "others" refers only to annoying strangers hitting on you? I don't think so personally. Is it really that hard to believe that people just haven't wanted to talk to you in particular?
Delete5.g '"Does it apply if "others" refers only to annoying strangers hitting on you?'
DeleteWell, there you have it. Someone speaking to you equates to 'annoying strangers hitting on you'.
^Its all well and good to put your arms up and shout "but I was not doing that. I just wanted to chat!" but please realize that you're not the only person who is doing this and I can only imagine it gets old fast. They may be the only person you've approached, but that doesn't mean you're not the 25th stranger that week for the other party.
Delete'They may be the only person you've approached, but that doesn't mean you're not the 25th stranger that week for the other party.' Ooooh really, so attractive women get approached by guys 3-4 times per day, every day? What bullshit.
DeleteMaybe be more likeable so people will want to talk to you
ReplyDeleteThey seemed to find me likeable enough. I guess you missed that part.
DeleteBecause they were fucking 15, OP. You have a bigger problem than you think you do.
DeleteWhen you find yourself buying dinner for children and call them 'bangin' its time to reevaluate your life.
ReplyDeleteI took them to Chipotle because they were nice. And yes, they were very pretty. So fucking what? I didn't try and score.
DeleteOP you skeevy bastard
DeleteI just love the responses to this thread. What a terrific barometer for what an anti-social dump this place is.
ReplyDeleteNah just you op. Bye felicia.
