OMG: Bullshit late fees for library books. Forgot to return a book and woke up to $50 in late fees. UW should just hire gangs to rover around campus and extort us if they need money that bad.
Assuming it was a book on reserve, then. It's your own fault. They're on reserve for a reason; other people need them. Also, they make it super clear when they have to be back.
It must be a book on reserve, and you have to return it for the reason #1 stated. It can't be a TRELLIS loan, because they notify you via email 2-3 days in advance.
It's alright, everybody makes mistakes. Accept yours, learn from them, and don't blame others - Its all part of being an adult.

ReplyDeleteOr you could return your books on time, like the people who don't have to pay late fees do.

When you borrow the book you implicitly agreed that you will be willingly to pay the late fee, so stop bitching now.
ReplyDeleteLOL it's worth more than the book
ReplyDeleteThe University does have 'gangs to rover around campus and extort us'. They're known as "parking services".
