OMG: I hope I'm not the only co-op student who wastes a lot of time at work because they don't really like doing their job...

  1. Awww princess :( you paid the university for co-op to give you a list of employers that are willing to hire useless students such as yourself because you realize without UW coddling you wouldn't even be hired at the local McDonalds. But I'm so sorry you feel like the job you applied for, interviewed for, and were hired for wasn't up to your over-inflated expectations. I must be ever so hard to realize the world doesn't revolve around you and that outside of UW's walls you're really a nobody.

  3. Holy the saltiness in the first comment. I'm sorry no employer wanted to hire your sorry a**. No need to take out your bitterness on the OP. A lot of people get matched to jobs they don't want. After the initial application and interview, you may realize the job isn't for you. Even if you rank it 9 there's still the likelihood you'll get stuck with that position.

    Stay pressed and jobless ^__^

    1. Because those that actually have relevant skills and don't need to pay the university to give them lists for work are pressed and jobless? I don't understand UW logic here? If you are able to find work on your own why would you want the taint of a co-op degree? Maybe that's why I always am hired for the position? Nahhh. Keep drinking the Koolaid. You're a winner! lol.

  4. If you want a better job in the future, you should do whatever one you are in now to your fullest. I have worked in many diverse jobs over the years and there is a certain pride in maintaining a solid work effort despite it being shit (I have literally shovelled shit for money to go to school). Respect yourself and the fact that you are very lucky to have a co-op placement.
