OMG: If only students at this university knew what happened behind the scenes at FEDS... they would be shocked at the shit staff can get away with without getting caught.
If you are going to have the stones to post something questionable about a group, or try to discredit them, you for damn sure better at least provide some proper proof. Please explain yourself or shut up. - sincerely graduating student who knows there are hundreds of us on this site that don't give a rats ass about student politics and want you to find another platform to blast your hot air from.
I've never cared for student politics. Especially not at Waterloo, but all the shit I see here that gets posted on FEDS is getting really repetitive. Everyone posts their rants and ravings with no proof and if they do, they bring up the same topic over and over and over again. It's getting old.
Dude stfu, the Feds own that store Who gives a fuck? I like having a quality 24h store in slc. They can pour themselves as much coffee as they want as long as they keep that store running.
Every one of their employees could afford to shrug off the cost of a coffee maker for office use, rather than look bad in front of other students. At least counting the coffee as "promotional" to keep records of product movement would be superior to simply leaving the store with UNACCOUNTED for coffee. This is extremely bad business practice in general. Better to keep tabs on everything than wonder where shit has gone when you realize you have not accounted for 3 crates of the stuff being lost product.
To further add to that, you don't need to account for office coffee the same way, as it is not being sold, and is in the books as an office expense rather than a sale item or freebie of a sale item.
In other words, even if you are allowed to, if it isn't accounted for when you walk out of iNews, it is still technically theft.
Pouring yourself a cup of coffee is a tiny step above pouring yourself a cup of water. I'm sure the cost of production of that cup of coffee is less than the cost of accounting for it.
You should see how taxpayer money is spent from grants and government funding by administrative staff... tens, if not hundreds of thousands go wasted all of the time... a lot of the admin staff are fucking retards who have slowly moved into positions they shouldn't even be in because they're not actually qualified or capable of doing their jobs. Once you're full-time staff you can't really get fired from here.
I've first hand experienced that stuff.. it is sad.
example please? I'm curious
ReplyDeleteBeen saying this forever.

That could be said about any part of the university though. Look at how bloated administration has become overall.
DeleteYou've just described all of government.
DeletePoliticians r not trustworthy. theyre definitely replaceable. just admit it.
