OMG: Recap of Feds General Meeting:
- fee increases all passed
- AFSA feee change passed
- Board elected, two incumbents were voted out (good riddance) and it is all new people.
1a, I'm friends with both of them and I couldn't disagree with you more. I recognize that putting that out there makes clear my bias (being that I am friends with them) but that also makes me privy to the endless amounts of pondering and thinking and reflecting about Feds and how to make it better.
I know one of them at the very least has more than enough experience on her own that she doesn't even need mention the Board of Directors on her resume. The other puts so much time and reflection into his involvement as Council Chair and Director and otherwise that it's blatantly clear he cares about it way more than resume padder.
I would be willing to bet that you've never even talked to either of them before making this statement. You should chat with them and I think it'd be pretty plain to you that it's entirely the opposite situation.
Why do you say "good riddance"? They had experience on the FEDS board already, wouldn't that make them better for the job?
ReplyDeleteThose two directors were useless resume-padders, so it is about time to elect some people who really do care about feds
Delete1.a Who are you to decide who does and doesn't care? I know one of those guys, and I can tell you that he does care.

ReplyDeleteYou won't become fees arranged and thus not have access to your courses on learn.
DeleteSame as if you refused to pay your tuition, basically.
