OMG: Yo, Engineering Gradcomm 2015.
Way to poorly announce event plans, give everyone a day and a half to buy tickets and completely undersize all events.
You guys fucking suck.

  2. Yeah, I'll give them props for organizing some really great sounding events, but I didn't even hear about some of them until tickets were already sold out. :(

  3. The gradcomm facebook group announced the full disorientation week schedule on January 24th along with explaining how tickets would be on sale on monday. There is literally no other means of contacting people. No emails are going to get sent out through the engsoc or undergrad email lists, they don't want that shit associated with them.

And undersizing all events? Maybe you'd like to find a brewery tour that allows more than 50 people in. Or a bar that will accept more than 3 bus loads of stupidly rowdy engineering for dusted? Hell, there's nothing stopping you from finding your own way to Roxannes, its only the bus there thats full, not the establishment.

It sucks that you didn't get to buy tickets, but no matter what happened there wouldn't have been enough space for everyone who wanted to go.

    2. 4b, what is your problem? Is any of what 4 said wrong? Places get filled up, and they can't use official EngSoc communication media such as email groups to organize pubcrawls.

I'm not involved with EngSoc, but I still new about the events. I'm sad I didn't get a ticket to go to on the brewery tour, but I had the opportunity, other people just went earlier than I did. Stop being so butthurt,

  4. Yup, pointed why the sales were advertised ahead of time and how the events aren't actually undersized, fuck me, right? Definitely not disappointed you won't be showing up.

  5. I don't even go to UW anymore, nor was I ever in engineering but I still knew about all the events and when the tickets were going on sale...
