Shut up you whiny fuck. I'm a student too and guess what? I recognize that we live in Canada.. where it snows.. and occasionally it is difficult to shovel that shit... So grow the fuck up and be an adult. Your 20k can go fuck off down the street.
it is difficult to shovel that shit... man imagine if u had to cut hair. Growing up lol... means prove that ur responsible lol. do u have respect for ppl that shovel the snow? I got a snowball in the face the other day.
last year it took over a month to get UW to remove a dead animal from campus. it was in an EXTREMELY visible location and definitely on university (not city) property. why? i have NO IDEA. i just walked by 2 dead crows today, not even gonna bother taking the initiative to alert someone to that. tl;dr they don't give a fuck
Generally speaking, I find Waterloo doesn't give a damn about it's students. There are individual exceptions of course, but overall, the maintainence and clerical staff are listless and indifferent. And frankly the community doesn't seem overly fond of the students, except when they can overcharge for shabby apartments.

DeleteIt's difficult to shovel snow? Are you a downie?
DeleteAnd your contribution to paying someone to remove snow out of that is about 50 cents.
ReplyDeleteShut up, it's Canada.
Shovel harder!
DeleteI agree with the OP. I have attended other post-secondary institutions in Ontario and UW has been by far the worst at clearing pathways.
ReplyDeletemy dad drives a taxi
ReplyDeleteu know what i would do with 20k? Charity work.
ReplyDeleteThe slush that covers almost every sidewalk is painful to walk through after leg day. Now UW is mentally and physically torturing us.

DeleteOh and I forget to mention the oh-so-cheerful staff that worked in the residence cafeteria. I think it's the place where smiles go to die.
