OMG: Amazon sends me someone else's package by mistake and then expects me to fork out money from my own pocket to send the package back to them. They say they'll reimburse me later, but what the hell?! How do I know they'll even pay out?

  1. Because they're a large corporation that would have an automatic payment policy on this. How is this even a question? You also don't have a choice, you can't keep the package or it's theft.

    1. Not OP: Is that legally theft or are you just making that up? I'm actually curious.

  3. I don't understand why they would expect you to pay for it to be returned and wait for a refund.

When we got a damaged package from Amazon, they sent us a mailing slip so we didn't have to pay...I would assume this could be used for a shipping error as well.

  5. Contact CS and complain, they'll sort it out. Just threaten with escalations as needed =)
