OMG: I hate everything about myself. I don't know how it's possible to find life worth living when my ultimate existence makes me sad on a daily basis.

  6. Join the club bud. Accept that were not all special. Some of us are just meant to be shitty. Think of it this way. Without shittyness there is no way to recognize goodness. So while we are shitty in life we still have an indirect hand in making good people look good. I guess that's something.

  7. Would professional help or counseling work in OP's case? Thinking depression but is is? or is it just that life these days is so hard that more and more people are depressed, large student debt pressures, no jobs, all that adds up. What can a counselor do to change the actual causes of the sadness and those feelings assuming it's not an actual medical or mental condition treatable by medication.

    2. Actually counselors can help by teaching coping strategies for negative thinking, even if OP does not have a diagnosable case of clinical depression.
