OMG: If a store on campus closes at 5, that means it's closed at 5. Not 5:10, not 5:30. Throwing a tantrum because you don't want to walk an extra 5 feet somewhere else to get a drink is not going to help your case. No, I'm not going to pretty please stay just an extra 2 minutes, because more people than just me have to report to people in order to close and we also have lives that we have to get home to. If I miss my bus, I have to wait an hour for another, and my kid has to stay an hour longer at the babysitter's, who also has a life she needs to get back to as well. Have some consideration for other people and don't screw up other people's lives because your entitled and want your insignificant item now now now.

  1. I find it entertaining to see someone demand something that is completely unreasonable. "Here is the supervisor's contact information, leave a message.". Then, not only do I get to relive it over and over, but I get to share the joy with my co-workers, as well!

  2. Oh my god, a-fucking-men to this! Same thing goes for bus tickets, if you don't plan ahead and buy your tickets in advance, don't get mad when there's nothing left when you decide to buy it on the same day you want to leave.

You probably knew several weeks in advance that you were gong to leave on this day, what, you thought they just have infinite seats on the bus?

    1. While I agree with you entirely, I often did decide on a Friday afternoon whether I'd go home that weekend or not so it can be a spur of the moment decision. That being said, I wouldn't complain if there weren't any tickets available.

  3. Even when I go into a store 5 minutes before they close I make sure to say, "Sorry, I will be really quick" and then I try to be at the counter 2 minutes before the store closes.

    1. OP is talking about after store closure. There are places on campus that only have a security screen up when they close, so it's relatively easy to get someone attention, if you're that desperate for it.
