OMG: I love berries, all of them! Unfrozen
Back where I'm from, we could buy berries by buckets, and it'd cost less than it what I pay here for a half pint container...
Where can I get berries, a lot of them for cheap, and in big containers? Like a kg-ish or more
is there a grocery store that does that? All the big ones I went to had those tiny containers for like 3 to 5 bucks... :(

    1. I'm not sure how adoption will lead to cheaper berries, but it seems like too much responsibility, plus the child will likely want to eat some of the aforementioned berries so in the end, what kind of a deal are you really getting?

  4. Most if not all local berries would be out of season by now. If you're around when they are in season (early-mid summer is strawberries, then mid-late summer is raspberries, and late summer/early fall is blueberries) then head to a pick-your-own farm. You get to eat them while you pick and it is WAY cheaper, although if you pick a lot of raspberries you should be careful because they crush easily. Otherwise you're stuck with frozen.

  5. If it was spring or summer I'd say the St. Jacob's Farmers market, but I don't know where you can find inexpensive berries in large containers this time of year.
