  1. You'll be fine. Just bust your ass for finals and ride the curve. - from a 3rd year who hasn't passed a majority of midterms since 1A

  3. Looking back, pretty sure I failed 3 (...at least 2) midterms in 1A as well, and probably as many finals before the curve. Going into 3A now!

This has been posted a million times, but stop worrying and study instead. Stress when you actually fail out.

  4. 3B Engineer, failed 3 midterms in 1A and 1B, still got a 70 avg both terms. It's completely doable, just work hard.

You'll start to fail less midterms as you progress. I was in your exact situation in first year and I haven't failed a single term.

  5. I actually failed all my midterms in 1 B and it was terrible. I barely passed that term but looking back, I should have LISTENED to the professor and gone to TAs. TAs are way more helpful than professors and teach you properly. You should also use the resources available in residences (even if you don't live there, they help you). Don't worry, just work hard and focus .

  6. Find the GENE 121 extra help WEEF TA. I had this job, this person is there to tutor students all day.

Usually they'll know their physics/calc/lin algebra very well, and are teaching it every day so they'll have a good feel for teaching hopefully.
