OMG: To all the people who think it's alright to leave garbage on the tables in the libraries, classrooms, or study spaces, it's not. Someone else has to pick up your trash and it limits the amount of space available for other students. So be a little more considerate and pick up your damn trash like the adult you are. The world doesn't revolve around you.

  1. This. Huge pet peeve of mine. I should not have to clean up after slobs just so I can have some space to learn.

  2. once, i was waiting for a cubicle in the silent study

i think the girl leaving would've left her garbage if there wasn't someone staring at the stuff there

  3. If I see someone leave garbage, I will chase after them with it and say "you forgot this." Responses I've gotten are like "I don't want it" or "it's garbage." My response is then, "you left it there, you're obligated to clean it up." Every time, they have taken it back because they know they're caught. Don't be afraid to call people out on this stuff.

    2. Even if you do go up to them; half the time they pretend to not understand English.

  8. Working at the library, I hate when people leave garbage in the stacks. I've found so many coffee and bubble tea cups sitting right next to the books. There are garbage bins on every floor; there's no reason for it! Plus, if it gets missed, it ends up sitting there (sometimes full of leftover stuff) for ages. Super gross.
