Yes. You are not entitled to a relationship... no one is. If you want to date someone for the sake of dating, you're probably going to have a bad time. You need to stop focusing on why you're not in a relationship and instead focus on why you should or want to be.
Honestly, take it from experience: good relationships are great, but it's way better to be single than in a bad relationship. Yeah, it gets lonely, but it beats the emotional abuse.
Once you actually get in a relationship, you'll realize that "alive" and "likes you too" are not enough to keep you happy.
I guess you just have to experience it for yourself though. You'll make some mistakes, learn about yourself along the way, and figure out what you're really looking for in a partner.
y'all are fuuuuuuucckeddd upp lol I was never about saving hoes but after reading some of the shit that goes through you peoples minds I might start. If I catch any of you dirty motherfuckers slipping smthn into a girls drink you can expect to get the shit kicked out of you :)
I wrote all the deleted posts. Except for 2 of them (I don't remember which ones). I also didn't write #10 and #11.
I sincerely apologize for writing such horribly vile stuff. I was bored on the internet... so I made things up that I thought would provoke responses. I am glad the MODS finally responded and deleted all my work, because it was starting to scare even me.
I didn't do it for laughs, because I never thought it was funny. I think I did it... just to see what would happen.
I shan't do this again. I may put it in a book and claim it's erotica, but no more triggering. That's a promise.
I'm not sure how to explain to you how very not funny and not cool the shit posted above was. Assuming that it's all you, which honestly just strikes me as some fellow trying to make humanity seem less shitty.
You may think it's a joke. You may think it's trolling. But when you and your friends have been raped in the EXACT WAYS YOU'RE DESCRIBING, and when you see a bunch of professed internet rapists all are sharing tactics and high-fiving each other for "taking what they deserve" through violence and manipulation, you would probably feel differently.
You would also probably feel differently if you understood that for some people, triggering their PTSD means that they can't function for days or sometimes weeks thanks for traumatic flashbacks. This is the same shit soldiers suffer from battlefield trauma.
15d, never said I thought it was funny or cool. I was curious to see what would happen, and how people would respond. It was an unethical social experiment on my part. I wanted to see what the OMGUW community attitude towards this sort of stuff was.
Now I know. Or at least I know more than I did before.
I've always been interested in the nature and thought process of evil. I'm also something of an amateur writer.
I don't understand rape. I don't understand violence, or hatred, or misogyny. I like people, and I like the world around me. But that makes me want to understand evil even more.
So to write those posts I tried imagining I WAS someone who had rape fantasies, or had committed violent, illegal, deplorable acts. I tried asking myself "how would they see themselves? What would they do?" and the answer I found was written in those posts.
The fact it was so accurate in your opinion, 15d... is something of a compliment. I accomplished my goal. Thank you!
Maybe next time I'll write from the perspective of a pedophile.
The only way we can embrace our true potential as human beings, is by confronting and understanding the darkest horrors at the heart of the human psyche.
15i, I'm not buying it. Go write it in a journal and keep it to yourself. The way you're doing it here is bordering on criminal behavior. And it's disturbing the mods from what should be their peaceful slumber to deal with you. Sincerely apologizing and then doing the same stuff is inconsistent. So again, I'm not buying it. Not impressed. In the future I'll just file this under "don't feed the trolls".
It's their job to moderate. If being called on to do that is a disturbance, then we need new mods, because clearly these ones are doing it wrong.
Anyway, the nice thing about anonymity is that I can try the "borderline criminal" experiements like these without fear of meaningful reprimand.
Write it in a journal? This stuff is meaningless without an audience. That's the whole point.
I may have apologized - but that was simply an admission that what I did was morally reprehensible. I'm glad the mods deleted what I wrote, but I don't regret writing those things to begin with. I have accepted the immorality of it all.
This started because I was curious how people would respond. Now I am less curious. If I get curious again... we will see.
I think that the scariest part about historic comments in this thread was the inability to decipher joking comments (however awful and poorly made) from reality when there is increasing knowledge of the prevalence of rape in our society.
I have always felt safe within the UW/KW community. That is, I have always felt safe until I read the comments in this article. Even if a ploy for attention, the sheer ability for someone to joke about such a topic demonstrates that we are far from overcoming a rape culture that is becoming all too normalized.
I don't mean to drag this on, I just hope that this can draw attention to the need for sensible internet use, continued rape culture in our society, and unfortunately, within our school community that needs to be beaten, and the ever growing need to prosecute and criminalize harmful cyber activity.
If you're desperate enough to settle for any girl that likes you, no girl will like you.

ReplyDeleteIf your standards are so low, then you must not have anything to offer.
Hit the gym bruh.

ReplyDeleteSo does this site even have mods?
ReplyDeleteBecause this post really needs to be shut down
Looks like the mods intervened and deleted all the horribly offensive trigger warning stuff. Good on ya, mods. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah agreed good job mods.

@15d: I'm not one for victim-blaming, but
Delete>when you and your friends have been raped in the EXACT WAYS YOU'RE DESCRIBING
Maybe you guys should really re-evaluate why you keep putting yourself into these situations...

15f: "I'm not one to victim blame but $victim_blaming!"
DeleteYes, totally the victim's fault when their attacker intentionally isolated and drugged them.
15eg: WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST READ. You are GROSS. GET OUT --->

Here's a good article that Imprint did about this thread:
