OMG: The library silent study is not an appropriate place to play computer games. I don't know how many times this has been mentioned on OMG UW, but if you're being asked to move, MOVE. Don't just stay there and continue playing your game without a thought to other people around you. The incessant clicking is annoying to those who are trying to study, AKA use the library for it's purpose.

    Or just move to the quiet study. They have a right to game wherever they want, but that said they should also be considerate of others.

      The library is funded by the school for studying. If you want to play games go to comfy lounge or coffeedonut shop.

    Completely agree OP. Go play video games at home. Better yet, stop wasting your life on video games. Go to the gym, read a book, learn an instrument. Shit, even jacking off is more worthwhile than video games.

      Fuck you, don't tell me what to do with my life. Video games are my method of dealing with my pain. I don't get wasted every weekend, killing my body, to deal with my pain.

    I didn't realize how annoying the clicking could be until I sat near a guy playing something while I was at the ML Tim Hortons. I wasn't even studying and I had to move because I couldn't take it.

    I stopped going to silent study areas because they're rarely quiet. Instead, I studied in areas with a constant but low-moderate level of sound which acted like white noise.

    I agree, if you're going to be in a space that's designated for studying, and you aren't using it for study, you should make room for people who actually want to study.

    People always complain about how there isn't enough study space on campus, I think that if we were to get rid of the people who aren't using it as they should, we'd have plenty.

    Try going to the library at UofT or at York. These are all just secondary problems that can easily solved in my eyes.

      The clicking of a person gaming is VERY different from someone typing.

      You need to be less ignorant before you tell people to go to the doctor for ADHD issues.
