OMG: Fuck the shit head preacher standing at the University St. entrance today. Proselytizing should be illegal, and I hope a car runs your ignorant ass over.

  1. Actually, if he's standing at the entrance to the University, you can just call campus police. The University has a policy that prohibits sales of any kind (including proselytizing) on-campus. The only exception is the Vendor's Alley in the SLC, and you need special authorization for that.

  2. All you have to say is "no, thank you". The poor old guy is standing on public space (if you mean by the railroad behind mongolian grill) and has every right to share his views.

    1. 2, actually that's University property. I've checked with Campus Police on this one before - he has to be at least 20 metres away from the property line.

  3. Who gives a fuck?

I talked to him, and I assure you he is fucking crazy.

But if it upsets you, you're just an asshole.

  5. That guy means no harm to anybody. He's not even pushy. Just ignore him. I have been for 5 years now.

  6. It's fun to discuss first year philosophy and some mathematical metaphysics with him.

  7. I am an atheist and have engaged him in conversation before. He's not very bright, but he's polite. I feel sorry for him, to be honest.

    1. They're actually nice dudes. If you're busy or don't want to talk, just tell them that and they wish you a nice day and leave you alone. But if you do talk to them, they're actually pretty cool, are pretty well spoken, and are nice as fuck dudes.

    2. ^I'm fine with that if they're off-campus.

On-campus, if I see them I call the police. Trespassing is trespassing.

    3. Been here for four years. Never seen anyone on-campus. They're always on Columbia and Lester or near University and Phillip.

  14. Scared of an old man who might say words to you? Grow up please. I've walked by him many times and never been approached or harassed by him. If he tries to talk to you say "no thanks" and keep on walking. He can't force you to do or believe anything so chill the fuck out.
