OMG: They made us wait over an hour between USS and Down With Webster during the Welcome Week concert... Seriously!?
Also, if you're like 6 feet tall, don't push yourself in front of someone who is 5 feet tall who was there first... thanks. Saw the worst of people during the concert.
itt: babby's first concert
ReplyDeleteShit happens and sets are delayed. This is normal. People moving to the front is also normal. You should either push forward yourself or politely ask if you can stand in front.
+1
Deletealso itt: complaining about free stuff
Thankyou! No doubt they're complaining about me. Perhaps they should've came slightly way earlier if they wanted to be in the front. Whenever anyone asked I let them in front of me.
Deleteyou suck man these people worked hard to put it on
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to a concert before? An hour is fairly normal. Shit happens
ReplyDeletewhat is even more annoying is all the douches in FEDS who got all access passes and were being dicks about cutting in front of the line
ReplyDeletewell they WERE the people who ran the welcome week events. they at least deserve that much :P
Deleteno, no they dont 4a. you dont get special shit for doing your job
Deletelol 4b, are you new? every job has perks. sorry you had to finally figure out life isn't fair and that it shouldn't be or no one else would step up and put on a damn show for students who don't even appreciate/understand the system.
Delete4b, you kinda DO. Perks and special rewards are good - even necessary - incentives, ESPECIALLY when you're relying on VOLUNTEERS to do the bulk of the work.
DeleteAs someone who has been to a ton of concerts, my advice is to quit complaining. Sets take a long time to set up and people push in front of you. If you let it bother you then you're going to have a shitty time. Might as well calm down and brush these things off and enjoy yourself.
