OMG: No more parking permits...where am I supposed to park now without going broke (paying $5 everyday).p.s. the back lots are half empty how are all permits sold out?!
Waterloo park (max. 3 hrs), Uni plaza (max 2-3 hrs) (beware of the man monitoring the parking lot in a vest). After 5pm, plaza, st. pauls. Anytime at the parking lot where columbia lake health club use to be. Sobeys, take the bus to campus. :)
Yeah, don't park at the plaza between 8am-5pm. I say it not because they have someone who hands out tickets but it's a private plaza with expensive rent. Taking a parking spot because you didn't get a pass or don't want to pay for parking isn't their problem, why are you using a spot meant for someone who will provide a small business with income.
As someone who commuted from Milton when I was doing my undergrad, I'd like to point out that not everyone at Waterloo is local. In an area where public transportation isn't a viable option, cars are necessary.
Park somewhere else and use your Watcard for the bus.
ReplyDeleteI park at the mall and take the bus in

DeleteGenius!
DeleteParking Lot X I think it is works. Its the gravel lot down Seagram. Its a bit of a walk but you wont get ticketed for not paying.
ReplyDeleteNot sure which lot you're talking about, but X is the big one behind Optometry.

DeleteI've been ticketed in Westmount Plaza too
DeletePark on Lester and walk.
ReplyDeleteThis. Also I used to live on Lester and didn't have a car and would like whomever park on the driveway. Maybe ask a friend?
DeleteDon't use a car
ReplyDeleteI live a solid 25 min drive from campus. If I lived closer or had a better bus line I wouldn't use my car.

DeleteA lot of energy spent on transportation, parking, just to sit in a conference room and read slides.
