OMG: profs who don't have an email and don't post a syllabus or even discuss it on the first day of class........thanks for nothing

  3. That's not ok. You should talk to the prof, or if you can't figure out how to get in contact, to the department offering the course.

  4. They must have syllabus. The syllabus is the "contract" between students and the prof. It should stipulate how marks will be divided so that they can't deviate from it without consent from the entire class. Contact the department head if the prof refuses to post one. They can be reprimanded for this.

  5. Technically it's "illegal" for them not to go over the syllabus with you because they are required to mention the university policy stuff, however briefly.

  6. Did you know you are allowed to cheat if your prof doesn't tell you it's against University policy? Just keep that in mind.
