OMG: This is really the first time 1st years have actually looked particularly young to me. Somehow they've gone from looking about the same or mildly younger to 5 years younger in 1 year. Any other 4th years see this?

  3. Try looking around at 1st years when you're 28 and in your last year of PhD...

  4. I noticed the same thing this past week. I'm only 23 but much of the frosh look like kids to me. They can be as young as 17 though.

  5. how ethical is it to date a frosh who is 4 years younger, Its not fair competition to the other frosh boys in my opinion

    1. Fairness doesn't really matter. On the other hand, being way more mature/experience makes it a tad bit touchier because a lot of people tend to prey.

  6. It's called getting old. Soon enough you'll be yelling at those darn hooligans to get off your lawn.

  7. I guess so, they certainly act young. Most of them can't seem to figure out orientation week and being by themselves, by themselves. They rely on their parents too much to do things for them, and aren't accustomed to failure or to not being so goddamn serious about studying all the time.

    1. Firstly, you're generalizing. Secondly, why would you denounce something they wouldn't have a choice over. They grew up in the same generation, around the same people. So the way they act is a direct reflection of how they were conditioned... just like you!! To say they should think and see things the way you do is ignorant, so perhaps you should take a look at how 'young' and immature you yourself are acting.

  10. I actually don't see it. I mean that might also be due to the fact that I'm a fourth year who still looks like she's in grade 12...-.-
