      I promise you that if you wait two weeks before you get your textbook you will be a happier person.

      Otherwise, try the used bookstore first.

  2. search facebook for waterloo textbook exchange. Kijiji also works. Also hold off on buying your books for a few days to save some line up wait times. Don't buy them brand new.

  3. Go to Feds Used Books in the SLC... that way you can see the quality of the books before you buy, and you don't find yourself feeling screwed.

    Literally a fraction of the cost, often you can get the international edition of a textbook, identical to the North American version except for the cover

    1. You can have a lot of difficulty reselling international versions or old editions if you try to do it to save money. Buy the book new, don't write in it and NEVER open the online access codes, and you can resell for a high price and in the end, not end up losing that much money on books in the long run.
