My sister lived in a Schembri apartment. One of her friends did not get her key deposit back because Schembri said there was damage done to the room. The girl didn't fight it though so they got away with it and will probably get away with more of this shit at the end of August.
I got mine back. They said they were going to keep it for damage but I contacted the off campus housing office in the SLC and they gave me advice. Paid for damage (50 bucks) but got the key deposit back no problem
Is it unreasonable to demand my key deposit back immediately after I give them my keys? I don't see why I should wait several weeks - this gives them the opportunity to "forget"
