Better yet, check out the UW textbook exchange facebook group. You can usually find wayyy better deals there than in the used book store. (Especially for popular first year course books)
I love going to feds used books because I can always browse the condition of the book before buying. I feel annoyed meeting up with someone to buy their book and the condition is never like how they've described. I want a good quality book!
Seriously though. I picked up the international edition of one of my books from there for about $10 which was about $90 cheaper than the bookstore.
ReplyDeleteThey have good deals in there on occasion.

ReplyDeleteI find it almost impossible to tell my upper year books there

DeleteDon't buy books at FED store. Price is set @ 80% of new book price, which is much more expensive than what ppl usually pay for private transactions.

ReplyDeleteThat's never happened to me...No one's ever lied to me about the quality of a book before.
