OMG: If you're in a position of leadership and are really happy/impressed with the work someone has done for you, how do you make sure they've received the credit that they're due? Are there awards you can nominate them for? Or ways you can help them on a professional level?

Just askin', y'know...

  1. There are a good number of awards from the university that you can nominate them for. Some even come with cash. Don't have the link handy, but hopefully someone else can fill the gap for you!

  2. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, is it for something like a club?

Feds has "club" awards that are given out at the Volunteer Thank-You: http://www.feds.ca/about/awards/feds-awards/
We also have the Leadership award: http://www.feds.ca/about/awards/leadership-awards/
And there are some plain out UW undergrad awards-- take a look: https://uwaterloo.ca/student-awards-financial-aid/undergraduate-awards/awards-current-undergraduate-students

Is this kind of what you're looking for? I hope this at least helps a little bit.
