I work outside as a summer job, and last year I wore a sweater almost every day of the summer, except for those 3 days when we had the huge heat wave... Some people just handle the heat fine, and the hoodie was more convenient (didnt need sunscreen, could sneakily wear earphones)
4's got it! In asian culture, being tanned indicates that you are of low status because you work outside (i.e. farmer, construction worker etc). That;s why you sometimes see girl walking around with umbrellas even when it;s not raining or those massive sun visors.
