OMG: Last week I ate the Bomber for the first time. The food was so bad, and even when I sent it back barely eaten and said that it was bad, I still had to pay for it. I mean, it's not about the money, it's that you served me shitty food and didn't even have proper customer service after I politely said it wasn't good. Never going back there again.

    1. I think it's reasonable to not have to pay for it seeing as it was unsatisfactory. Every time I've been served something bad at a restaurant, the least they've done is given me a discount.

    2. Easy to say something is "unsatisfactory" after you finish the meal and look to not pay for it. Pipe up when you realize it's shit not when it's all gone

  5. I actually do like the food, but the service really is awful. I know they have a high turnover off staff since it's mostly on-term students but they don't train them properly. I actually saw one girl bring the wrong order to a table, realize it five minutes later, then pick it up (after some fries had been picked at btw) and drop it off at the right table.

  7. I have eaten there countless times and have never ever had one problem with the food. And I've ordered most everything off the menu. It's also a student training pub for new staff learning the ropes of hospitality so I always have patience for that reason. They're learning.

  11. Food has been okay for me whenever I go there. Yes, it is standard pub fare, but they do have some good stuff on the regular menu too. Service can either be really good or really slow. All in all, maybe you just had a bad experience OP.

  15. The $4 breakfast (which usually ends up being $6 because you need to order a drink to get that special) is just alright. The home fries they serve are pretty disgusting, the sausages I had were okay but they weren't breakfast sausages.

    The service is alright. Honestly though, you can't expect much out of food quality at a college pub..

  17. maybe next time you should just say you want a discount. Maybe you're server was just busy and didn't think to do it. Some times you just have to speak up!
