OMG: What the heck is with the removal of the coat rack that was under the stairs in the Tatham centre? Now we're supposed to bring all our bags and shit to our interview? That's just akward and unprofessional.
What? I'm supposed to go home, change into a suit, leave backpack so as not do be seen with both at the same time, complete interview, go back home to exchange suit for backpack, carry on with school?
Can't tell if you are really stupid or reaaaallly stupid..
3.a That's exactly what you should be doing... Travel light for the day... Do you have any self respect? you look like a complete idiot sweating in your shitty suit, walking around with your pathetic worn out backpack. Why even bother wearing a suit?
Grow up and take some pride in your appearance. must be in CS, srs
@3c: Nice attempt, but try again. If you were in CS, you wouldn't even need to be in some shitty suit. I feel sorry for you poor fuckers that have to wear a suit in this weather.
I understand them taking away the coat rack and backpack area in the paging area, so vulnerable for theft. Now the people who worry about their expensive laptops being stolen are not disadvantaged by taking their stuff with them. I never used the lockers, so I didn't know they existed, but that just seems like an idiotic move to take them out.
Whaaaaaatttttt???? STUDENTS HAVE BACKPACKS??? Employers are interviewing at a campus full of students with BACKPACKS???? unheard of!!!!!
In all seriousness, employers know they are on campus interviewing students who have *gasp* backpacks so no it is not unprofessional. You can bring your things with you or leave them in the change room. At the end of the day just don't blame TC for CHOOSING to leave your things by the paging seats etc.
How is it "akward"? I've always brought everything into my interview, along with everyone else I know.
ReplyDeleteThey even got rid of the lockers! :( I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteIf you walk around with a suit and a backpack I seriously have no words for you...

3a: If you have enough time before class to change out of your suit, I don't see why that's such a stupid idea.

Delete3C probably doesn't get many interviews, or probably has very few hours of class.
DeleteRemoving the lockers was stupid, many people (myself included) changed at TC and changed back once finished.
haha 3c you're a fucking plug
ReplyDeleteaw that's cute, brah can't find the reply button
Delete^ hahaha
DeleteIs no one aware of the changing rooms and coat racks downstairs by the call centre?
ReplyDeleteThey got rid of the lockers in the change rooms... now it's just a coat rack. Very annoying.
