OMG: https://uwaterloo.ca/student-success/blog/post/paving-way-sustainability
So much drama around creating a fucking pathway...what's wrong with this school.
OP here. That article was only to point towards this issue.
You were supposed to get your head out of your asshole and read the article for specifics and realize this is just a mere fucking pathway which shouldn't take a "year with collaboration from private companies and students". The FEDS funded group that did this had 14 execs the last time I checked.
Apparently you checked 2 years ago. Get your head out of your own ass and find out for yourself. If you don't think working with the real world takes this long to get shit done, I feel bad for your future. You don't get it.
I think he doesn't understand the difference between drama and press releases. Though the fact that the university doesn't just pay for it and part of the funding has to come from student societies is pretty fucking dumb.
Its funny how big of a process this had to be. Making campus sustainable? a year project? so many people to thank? It's a small pathway between two buildings, lol
Why did it need to be sustainable or eco-friendly or any of that expensive stuff? It needed to be paved, it got paved. If they had of chosen the cheapest way of making it (while still having a normal lifespan) they could have done it last summer.
Sorry OP, but where in this article was the drama? Was it the part where she said that she's not done and wants to do more?
