OMG: I just came back from co-op and I keep finding all these awful "true bugs wait" posters around the MC. Because the inadequacy of high school sex ed and buffer overflows together is so comical! wtf...
The posters went up shortly after Heart bleed (http://heartbleed.com) was discovered in OpenSSL, so they were funny because of the reference to recent happenings. They are indeed meant to be satirical.
I think OP's point wasn't that they're not satirical but that the jokes aren't funny. I'd tend to agree. Looking at the posters, it's a real stretch and reminds me of the poorest caliber of high school humor.
I don't get the jokes, but for some reason I still think they're hilarious.
