OMG: Anyone want to start up some sort of support group for depressed people? Not like, therapy or anything, just somewhere to talk.

    Come to Clubs day this Thursday and Friday. I'll be happy to grab a couple drinks with anyone interested.

    i used to post to one of these groups on another site

    turned out it was just a bunch of people wallowing in their self pity and raging at the world

    not a good place for anyone to stay for long

    That's a good idea. A place to rant and offer cheerful advice. Not an emo group of whiners. Count me in :)
    Which isn't saying much since I am anonymous but just saying that the idea is good.

      What I assume OP is looking for is a safe group of people to talk to. In which case I think he will find exactly what he is looking for at the clubs event.

    i am very interested. was actually thinking about starting something myself. don't know how though. i feel like the student health services for psychological problems aren't enough :/

    there are those types of groups on campus to get involved in that help, there is tons of information around health services upstairs
