You're thinking of mixed people. White washed can refer to any ethnicity, whether or not they have "white" heritage in them. It refers to someone who integrates fully into Western culture with less visible ties to their historical culture.
I realize how racist that definition was, but its a racist term, so there isn't much I could do with that one.
