I honestly believe UW should offer ebooks and demand it from the publisher. The publisher would still set the price as they do now. I buy texts from the united states to save money, 3-4 books at 180 each, per semester gets expensive!

1/3 to a half of texts can be found on pirate bay

The library has a growing number of textbooks available online.
Goto www.lib.uwaterloo.ca and search to see if your textbook is there before buying it at the book store.
