OMG:
Dear Food Services: believe it or not people still work on this campus and would like to buy from the SLC Tim Horton's before they go to their jobs. I know money is very tough for the university over the next 2 weeks. However, if you could somehow absorb the $76 in wages it costs to open at 6:30 am instead of 7:30 am, it would be much appreciated by the customers. I am sure the costs will be recovered when the campus returns to full swing.

Boohoo. Make your own coffee in the morning for two weeks. Hate to tell you this bud, but they change their hours because it's not profitable and they have to eat a lot more costs than just paying a couple workers for you to get your own precious coffee.
You're likely a co-op student working on campus... stop acting like you're important.

I do feel your pain a bit, I have meal plan money to spend at Tim's on campus, but no actual money to spend off campus. But I discovered that making my coffee at home is a million times greater. Buy yourself a vacuum mug if you want it partway through the day. Tim's coffee is far too weak for my liking.

Dear Student,
Unfortunately we are not here to provide a service to you as that would inconvenience us and make it more difficult to pay our over inflated salaries. If you dislike this to the point that you no longer want to attend our institution please let us know and we will be sure to weigh our options but short of you no longer paying tuition, you are just going to have to suck it up.

As much as I can see this being an inconvenience for you, would it really hurt to get up 10 minutes earlier in the morning and make a coffee/bagel yourself? It'll save you some cash too!
