Been in the same situation OP. Have you tried contacting her? Telling her you still care about her? The worst outcome is that you find out she doesn't care as much as you thought she did. Then try to move on.

I lost my best friend too. We dated for years, but were best friends for a year or so first.
A year later, many hours spent with a psych, about 4000 anti-depressants, and a string of shitty one-night-stands/ emotionless encounters, I'm not okay.
You aren't alone. For whatever that is worth to you :(

it sounds to me it's about op losing the friendship of a best friend. been there too op, haven't spoken to my bestie for almost a year. people just change sometimes no matter how shitty the circumstances were. Keep your head up!
