OMG:
For anyone who was in DP Saturday July 28 between the hours of 5:00-7:00pm, and saw the 5 police officers and heard the alarm ring:  There's an investigative search for an 5"7-5"9 Asian male in his late twenties/ early thirties wearing black rim glasses seen with/carrying a 2-4 year old toddler on the 9th, 8th, and 6th floor with a silver gray camera. He can be arrested for under the table video recording of girls in the library cubicles. If anyone has any information contact UW Police service.

    This post doesn't make sense.

Why is the word "toddler" capitalized if that is not what he is suspected of. Made me think he kidnapped toddler.

  6. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I saw a cop walking around EV3 too

  7. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

    Mmm untouched UW Pussy

  8. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Um. I don't actually think this is something people should taking lightly?

Stupid comments never cease to amaze me.

    5"7-5"9 Asian male

Yeah, good luck narrowing that down at UW.

  10. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@8 this is not that serious. No bodily harm was caused, and being recorded (even nude) is not that big of a deal, person should feel very pissed nothing more.

(forgive me if I don't have facts straight)

  11. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I was on the 7th floor of DP today and I did see a cop walking down the isles...I didn't know that happened.

  12. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Why would he be carrying a toddler to video tape girls' vaginas? That seems inappropriate and more of a hindrance than anything- has anyone confirmed that it wasn't a midget?

  13. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Oooohhhhhhh. I was on the 9th floor studying and saw some people looking around a lot. It was getting annoying. I think I saw the same cop pass by like 4 times. Anyone know if they caught him?

Video should be posted... for science.

  16. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

It's not like he would've caught a lot on tape, I mean unless you were wearing a skirt or a dress then yeah he can see up it but if it's just shorts or jeans, it's not that big of a deal.

  17. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

There were a lot of police walking around DC not too long ago too, was it the same reason?

  18. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@10 Thanks so much for telling all of us how to feel! Such an honour.

  19. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Asians dont grow that tall. This is fake.

Okay now I feel creeped out for wearing a lot of dresses lately around campus. O.o

  22. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

i was there at the time and i saw that asian guy running while holding a toddler!!!! i thought it was cute and didn't think much of it. the cops arrived shortly after i saw him but i didn't make the connection

  23. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

i know what he looks like... but i'm not sure how i can help as there isn't anything on the UW police website

  24. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

No seriously though, why did he carry a toddler with him?

  25. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

    EW. WTF.

  26. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

don't really understand where the toddler fits into all this, but I was in the Arts Quad between those exact times and saw UW Police out there.
    What the actual fuck.

  27. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I've been told that creepers generally have a child or dog with them, because girls will go up and want to see the baby, play with the dog, etc.
But that's probably just a misconception of some sort.

  28. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@ people wondering where toddler fits in

The guy probably has a kid and he can't leave the kid alone. It seems a lot more normal when a toddler grocery shopping to get eggs and some milk than under table video recording of young females in a university library.

  29. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

This is why I don't wear underwear.

  30. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

What are the relevant laws in Canada regarding filming people without their consent? Did he even do anything illegal? Definitely creepy, but illegal?

  31. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Yeah, I saw the campus police car parked under the ECH-BIOL bridge this morning around 830 and they are parked outside of the environment buildings right now :s Weird.

  32. Blogger Modus Operandi Says:

    @30

Voyeurism is an offence under the Criminal Code. It includes acts such as videotaping someone without their consent for a sexual purpose.

    This also happened at UW:

  33. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

The toddler makes it seem like the guy is less of a threat. You don't expect that level of creepy behaviour when a little kid is around. Though it makes it harder to blend in a university setting...

  34. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

    An Asian....in the library....with a camera....at UW....

This is the set up for a really funny joke, or the saddest game of Clue EVER.

  35. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I don't understand. He was under the tables? With a camera? With a toddler? No one noticed him?

  36. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I don't understand how the cops got involved. Somebody saw him in the act and called the cops but they didn't think to approach the guy directly and tell him to screw off or at least keep an eye on him?

  37. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I think I know how the toddler plays a role in here...since he was sticking cameras under the desk..he probably got the kid to do it..I mean wouldn't you notice if a grown man was going under desks to stick cameras there? The toddler was obviously small enough to not be noticed. Or he was just a distraction while the grown man was sticking it but either way, both work.

  38. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@ 22 and 23- If you think you can help in any way then you should report what the suspect looks like- investigations usually take a long time to go through
