Umm its guaranteed, which means you will...for sure.
You might not get your first choice though.

accept your residence contract by the 26th and you will have a room.

It's guaranteed if you submit everything you need to do before the deadline, but it's not guaranteed that you'll have your first choice of residence. But even if you don't get your first choice you can still have a good time. My friend put REV down as her last choice but ended up getting it anyway. She made a lot of friends and liked it regardless though. Don't stress too much little froshie.

Of course you will get a room. Anyone remember REV in 2007? They will do anything to ensure it.

A great thing about UW is that unlike McMaster, they don't overaccept students and run out of residence space. Many students at Mac have been forced to stay in triple rooms because they just didn't have enough space. Like mentioned above, if you pay the deposit and confirm by the deadlines, you'll be fine.

#11 - UW has no control over how many people accept their offers. Sometimes you can get too many people accept their offer and you end up with a situation like 2007 (as mentioned above) where there were three to a room in some of the REV rooms.Maybe Mac just has a crappy algorithm or is more popular then they think they are.
