Yeah, I really like the being in debt and being away from family part; also, having no friends is really nice. YAY!!!

^ university is expensive, you'd be in debt anywhere so get over it. And OP just said that your experience is what you make of it, so if you don't like not having friends, go out and make some!

How nice a feel good post. But honestly if these are your best years of your life you are a failure. Struggling with debt, listening to obnoxious professors and students, writing an exam that has nothing to do with your future...? Your best years await after this bullshit is done when you have money and can do what you want rather than having something dictated to you. Don't believe the movies and popular culture that university has to be awesome and somehow you're missing out. Only an idiot would believe in a fairy tale.
