OMG:
I have no idea how to take care of myself. I do well in school, but I sacrifice everything else, but sacrificing school for a balanced life makes me feel so lazy.

this OMG

What? I don't even... what are you trying to say?

  2. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

^They are saying : Workaholic, can't stand not studying or else they feel lazy.

  3. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

OP, it's great you do well in school. I hope you were not implying your roommates were cleaning up after you though.

  4. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

See a counselor about it, they can offer you advice, seriously.

Also, keep in mind that exercising helps you do better in school. So maybe try working out?

Its great that you do in school though, but remember, marks are not the only thing that will determine your career, personality is very important. Perhaps its worth it to sacrifice some study time to develop better leadership skills, social skills, interview skills, etc.? At the end of the day, we're in university to get a job.

  5. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I feel the same, my issues is that I never exercise when I am in school and I always gain weight on school terms and lose it on work terms when I can spend more time on myself after work hours.

  6. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Agreed with #4. If all you do is focus your efforts on developing your academic skills, you may be lacking in other areas that are important to attaining a job and enjoying a successful career.

Why not join your faculty's student union or enrol in the OHD's student leadership program?

  7. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

maybe take 4 courses and do well in all of them and have more time for yourself.

  8. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Good thing you're not one of my roommates then!

  9. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I also have major workaholic issues. Right now I'm off of school but working two jobs. One is full time, other is part. I have been working full days, every day for three weeks straight. My parents tell me to take time off for me but I always feel so selfish and useless if I do. :/

  10. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

You probably smell like a bag of terrible. Get yo shit straight, son.

  11. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@6 I just want to say that the ohd "leadership program" is not a substitute to being involved.

  12. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

@11 - you do receive a certificate upon completing the program, however. it is a good way to gain some credentials and experience outside of academic work.

  13. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

OHD sessions are all crap. joining your faculty's union might help, or you know, getting shit wasted with friends.

  14. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

    im 11 and I approve of @13

I heard Al speak to a woman in Israel and he stated that reincarnation is a scientific fact based on the children memories of past lives. This is total ignorance. Consider this Al. What if all the memories of past lives were actually mind implants by beings that also possessed other humans in past lives? Show me some proof that this cannot be the case before you state that reincarnation is a scientific fact. In fact there is no proof of reincarnation other than memories of past lives which can all be explained by mind control of spiritual entities of non-human form or human dead form or ET form including reptilian ad infinitum. There are no such cases that cannot be explained this way. I contacted the late John Mack re: this and he was very interested but died before we could further explore it.
