Sexual assaults happen in every city, OP. York just gets criticized a lot in the media because it keeps happening and the administration has made no effort to create more awareness about the issue or even warn their students about it when incidents do happen.

UW works hard to maintain the 'culture of silence.' Sexual assaults and rape are experienced on our campus, every year, but is never publicly disclosed.
