Tell him to stop committing incest ;). But how is she like his mom? Appearance, behaviour, or does she actually act like his mom and tell him to clean his room? I would subtly tell him what you think, without outright accusing him of having mommy issues.

Although you shouldn't have a problem with telling him this, it might weird him out, especially if he starts seeing the connection. Could you guys honestly see a strong resemblance between a parent and your SO and still be intimate with them? I don't see any resemblance between my bf and dad (thankfully) but if someone pointed out examples, I would be really weirded out and turned off. If he really likes this girl, maybe just say "she's nice" or something lol
