But if we stop complaining then they'll assume we are happy with the current state. I'll bet you were one of the people who defended Blizzard's choice of having always on DRM for Diablo 3.

The best way to go about that would be to send those in charge a formal letter or presentation with ideas about how to fix it and either funds or your willingness to volunteer. If you want to post about it here, the post should be productive rather than just a complaint.
