I'd call you a dirty fucking hypocrite but you probably wouldn't get it.
^ Perfect example.
#1 here, I'll assume #2 is OP and my point has been made.
i support #1OP stfu, did anyone teach you?
I agree with OP! I learnt that rule from bambi, the bunny's mom would be like "what did your father tell you?" And he'd move is foot and say "If you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all". Unfortunately, I don't follow the rule, and I end up getting in trouble lol
Really OP? You only want people to say nice things to each other? You do realize that people will only improve or realize their mistakes through criticism, right? Otherwise, the world would become one gigantic douchebag circle-jerk.
@ OP - Some people really just get off trolling...it'd be the same no matter where you go. Give it attention and it grows, ya know?
Good things to say <> Nice things to say. Maybe it should be reworded to "if you've got nothing useful to say...". Criticism is good when it's constructive, and I agree that it's essential. But yes, too many people here get off on trolling. You'd think we'd have better things to do.
I understand OP, but OMGUW isn't always the most serious website. Some people just come on here to have fun. So relax and don't let it get to you!
OP needs to give validation to what they have been brainwashed to believe: that everyone and everything is good. People have problems, people have difficulties, the strong do take advantage of the weak. That is life, people will do what they want and for you to try to dictate such is futile. Save yourself some time and worry about your own life instead of trying to project your personal values on others. The only one who will get burned is yourself.
^ So your life lesson is be selfish and screw everyone else? This is the crap coming out of a university? You are only half right. It is true that everyone has problems and that they have difficulties. Maybe I'll let someone more wise explain how you are wrong, "Be Kind; Everyone You Meet is Fighting a Hard Battle" -- Plato (Although I hear that he might not have been the first one to say it)
^ This generation is too "me me me!!" and f everyone. There really is a lack of respect nowadays.
