Former FEDS President Matt Colphon just kissed ass his entire time as FEDS President until they offered him a full-time cozy job with the University where he will likely never progress from.
Terrible leadership and he essentially cost the students Federation Hall.

you will have probably graduated by the time the building even gets approved...i remember being in first year when the talks started...im now in 4th and nothing more has been done

@3 Yes, the issue was announced to students at the very last FEDS council meeting of former President Colphon's predecessor, Brad Moggach. It was up to Colphon to work with upset students but instead he buckled under administration pressure and hid the entire thing behind a curtain during his entire term as President. There were huge opportunities for student demonstrations, such as at the Board of Governor meetings, instead he worked against students in silencing them.

July 5th @ 9:00 AM, SLC GREAT HALL - ENOUGH complaining on some random site. It is time to make our voices heard. I am organizing a protest. Bring your issues, upon arrival just sit in front of the FEDS office. Do not cause a disturbance, you will be kicked out. Just occupy the office, occupy the space in front of the office. Protest on the 5th! Enough talk, action is needed. Time to expose the incompetence and corruption that is FEDS. FEDS is the students, take back the power instead of being ignored. Time to get things done.

Agreed with #10. Council meetings start at noon as well, so I imagine more people will be inclined to come out. The only downfall is that they occur on Sundays, so there will be less students in the SLC to observe the demonstration.

why don't we work on drafting a proposal to bring to council right now?
Something like "Student's Council doesn't support any proposal for a new student building until the University provides students with compensation for taking over Fed Hall"
This would tie down the exec cause really council controls what the exec do
