Do not leave things out that attracted them.
Also if you so see such things, please tell maintenance (via e-mail, they need permission to enter your room and look).
I've had pill bugs and ants, both handled very well.
Keep your room clean and you should have no issue.

I had ear wigs & nasty centipedes. Ear wigs especially come out after rain, and you really can't do anything about it.

I live on the 3rd floor, and it's ridiculous how many creepy crawlies I've seen around.

I was on the first floor of V1 and always kept my window wide open when it rained. I legitimately never found more than maybe 2 bugs in my room all year. Keep it clean.
