Well, during first year the co-op people said they'd help you find another one if smth like that happened. Unless it's your fault of course...

Ah that sucks! I'm so worried about my employers cancelling my offer for some reason because they haven't replied to my emails yet :(

Accepting a job from a small start-up like them is always a gamble. I know a lot of people were really excited about it during interviews so it sucks if its off the market for good now.

probably not good idea to make such a personal comment publicized online.. if your job got cancelled speak to CECS.. usually they will hook u up with something.
Making these posts are kinda counter productive because the employer as well know who you are exactly... hr recruiters move around quite a bit and speak A LOT.. believe me.

Well EXCUSE me for trying to help prevent the same thing from happening to other UW students that they might hire and screw over this close to a work term.
They sent out multiple offers. They'd have to dig pretty deep to find me.

Ouch that sucks. I don't get why people are so mad at OP. Cancelling a job this late is about as big a dick move as it gets, they deserve to at least post about it. Thx for the warning.
